Aram is the frontman and founder of Makoor, a New York-based band, for which he writes and produces all the music. Though his passion is modern rock, he was classically trained on upright bass from an early age, playing in orchestras starting age 9, and seedy jazz clubs since age 15. He majored in Political Science (for some reason) at Northwestern University, but tends to stay out of politics as a rule of thumb.
Aram lives in Hell’s Kitchen with his wife, Jenn, whom he knows is well out of his league.
