The Fruit of the Sea – Seafood at Bistro 72

Long Island’s East End and North Fork are home to fantastic vineyards, distilleries, farms, orchards and purveyors that supply the region with the freshest local products, produce and food. At Bistro 72 we pride ourselves on serving local products as often as possible and partnering with local vendors. Our new menu for fall is no exception. Long Island is also, in fact, an island with a history of seafaring, fishing, clamming and oystering. Our menu features some wonderful Long Island inspired seafood dishes.

Our recently released Fall menu includes a new Long Island Clam Chowder. This traditional favorite is made with local Long Island clams, New Potatoes, Celery, Carrots, Shallots, Bacon, Cream. It’s an excellent way to start a culinary seafood journey.

If you like pasta with seafood, than look no further than our Shrimp Scampi which is a blend of Lemon, Wine , Butter Sauce and Beggar’s Purse Cheese Pasta by Lisa Marie’s Pasta in Deer Park.

If you are in the mood for fish, we have a Moroccan Sea Bass and a Pan Seared Salmon that will surely fulfill your cravings.

The Morrocan Sea Bass is spiced with Za’ atar, complemented with Herb Couscous, Roasted Tomato, Asparagus and Beurre Blanc. While the Pan Seared Salmon is made with Atlantic Wild Salmon accented with Alderwood Smoked Sea Salt, Fingerling Potatoes and Seasonal Vegetables. These entrees and appetizers are just a sampling of the seafood we offer.

All of the great seafood on the menu is provided by the Braun Seafood Company in Cutchougue. The Braun Seafood Company has been supplying Long Island’s finest seafood for over 85 years.
