Fresh seafood is one of summer’s greatest indulgences. Each Sunday, Hotel Indigo hosts Summer Fun Days, a weekly celebration of the Summer season on Long Island. Along with free music and fun, outside on our patio is Chef Joey’s specialty raw bar.
Serving three types of seafood, two of them local varieties, the raw bar presents a tour of flavors and complementary sauces not to be missed. Peconic Gold oysters and Little Neck clams are served alongside Jumbo Wild Mexican prawns. Peconic Gold oysters are known for their mild brininess, sweet & creamy complexion, and smoky finish.
The sauces, made fresh in our kitchen, include traditional cocktail sauce, tequila lime cocktail sauce, charred lemon remoulade, red wine mignonette, and watermelon mignonette. A mignonette sauce is composed of minced shallots, pepper, and vinegar and is typically served with oysters.
The outdoor raw bar will be available every Sunday from 3-7PM on our patio. The seafood is priced à la carte, with 6 oysters for $15, 6 clams for $12, or 3 shrimp for $10. Be sure to look out for new, permanent seafood additions to our lineup with the launch of our Fall menu in September.
