Lydia Sabosto has performed in many venues. From resort hotels, fundraisers, musical theater, to political events and music festivals, Lydia has performed from Florida to Manhattan to Boston. She worked many years in cabarets in New York City, accompanying numerous vocalists. Although she still works with many singers, she has ventured out into the solo performance field. Gail Storm is a pianist and vocalist from New York who specializes in interpreting and performing classic blues/jazz. Though Gail draws her musical influences from traditionally-based performers such as Meade Lux Lewis, Bessie Smith, Ella Fitzgerald, Fats Waller, and Louis Jordan, many of her fans compare her to modern day performers such as Diana Krall and Marcia Ball. Gail is known to have a “heavy left hand” as demonstrated by her strong, rhythmic bass lines-particularly evident in the “boogie woogie”.
Our performers come from far and wide. We feature Long Island natives as well as performers who come to enjoy the atmosphere of the East End. We have created a community of talent that features legends and rising stars. Our past performers have included Prentiss McNeal, formerly of The Drifters, American Idol finalist Leah Laurenti, Grammy winning artist Lauren Kinhan of New York Voices and Paul Simon’s bassist, Bhakiti Kumalo. Listen to the smooth sounds of blues, jazz, rock, mellow soul and more. It’s sure to please the eardrums. We also like to set up the perfect scene while listening to our live entertainment. Hang out by the bar or dining area while the sound of jazz plays in the background. Or during warm weather, relax by the pool or outdoor fireplace as the performer sets the mood for the perfect day or night. Each year we participate in the Long Island Winterfest, which features over 100 live performances over the East End. Winterfest was created in 2006 to liven the culture of the East End. Hotel Indigo and Bistro 72 participate each year and hold nightly shows. While you’re off at a winery or other venue during the day, we invite you to end your night by seeing one of Winterfest’s amazing performances. We have Live Entertainment on the East End every Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Stay tuned for nightly performances on our website. We update it weekly!
