Christmas Eve Dinner

Bistro 72 is the perfect place to celebrate with your family on Christmas Eve. Our three-course prix fixe dinner is designed to be a feast to indulge your senses. Our entrée selections range from a Bone-in Lamb Rack to a savory Stuffed Butternut Squash. Seabass Provençale or a Petit Filet and Lobster Tail may be on your wishlist. And of course, a New York style cheesecake will leave you dreaming of sugar plums. This will be a treat for the whole family before you head out to catch a glimpse of Santa’s sleigh in the night sky.

Christmas Day Brunch

Christmas morning comes with a flurry of wrapping paper and bows. Once the presents have all been opened, join us at Bistro 72 for our Christmas Brunch. We offer a cornucopia of delights, from Stuffed French Toast to the holiday favorite, Lox Platter. Maybe something savory will strike your fancy, like our Crab Cake Benedict or Steak & Eggs. Our Bistro 72 Christmas Brunch will have something for everyone.

Christmas Day Dinner

Top your holiday celebration off with a magnificent three course prix fixe Christmas Day dinner with your family and friends. We have room for everyone at the table and the menu is going to ensure everyone finds just what they desire. Start with a warm French Onion Soup or Bistro Salad and then select from over 5 different entreés, which include tantalizing options like our Mesquite Seasoned Chicken Breast, served with delicious whipped sweet potatoes, and a Surf & Turf that includes a 8oz filet and a 6oz lobster tail. Christmas Dinner’s sweet coup de grace is our New York Style Cheesecake served with a dash of whipped cream and raspberry coulis.


Our Christmas Dinner Menu is available Sunday, December 24 and Monday, December 25 starting at 3pm. Our Christmas Brunch is available 11am – 3pm on December 25.

Brunch with Santa

During the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, we want you to sit back, relax and create family memories that will last a lifetime. Join us for our Holiday Brunch with Santa where you can enjoy a festive meal with a complimentary picture with Santa.

Every Sunday from November 26 through December 17, Bistro 72 will host Santa for our special Holiday Brunch from 11 am – 3 pm. A photo with Santa and a lovely brunch with family and friends will be just the way to put you in a festive mood.

Dive into a decadent stack of chocolate chip pancakes as you sip one of our signature drinks. As the kids whisper their wishes to Santa, you can sample some of the seafood delicacies on our Bistro Menu, like our Lobster Mac and Cheese, Ahi Tuna Taco or the Crab Cake Benedict, or if you’re feeling especially merry, our Bloody Maria: a delicious Bloody Mary served with jumbo shrimp.

The kids will enjoy their breakfast plate of waffles, eggs or pancakes before they jump up to ask Santa if they are on the Naughty or Nice List.

Join us this Thanksgiving at Bistro 72. The season of gratitude is a time where we gather together with our families and loved ones to give thanks. This year, celebrate with your family at our table with a wonderful prix fixe menu that will leave you feeling grateful you left the cooking to us.

Our Thanksgiving Prix Fixe menu has 4 courses with a variety of options. You’ll begin the evening with a seasonal Butternut Squash Soup topped with Roasted Pumpkin Seeds. This will be followed by your choice of a Bistro 72 salad or a traditional Caesar Salad, both made with organic and local ingredients.

Thanksgiving wouldn’t be Thanksgiving without the main course, Roast Turkey.  Savor the Traditional Sliced Roast Turkey, cooked to perfection and served with Mashed Potatoes, Sweet Potato Au Gratin, Sauteed Carrots, Homemade Stuffing and a sweet, yet tart Cranberry Compote.

Finally, for dessert, you’ll have your choice of Pumpkin Pie, a Flourless Chocolate Gateau or a Caramel Apple Cobbler à la Mode. Long Island’s Best Coffee, Where You Least Expect To Find It

Wake up and smell the coffee! As Summer gives way to Fall, it’s time to trade in your cold brew for the warmth and aroma of a freshly brewed hot cup of coffee. Whatever your preference, it doesn’t get any better than a cup from Long Island’s best-kept coffee secret, Georgio’s Coffee Roasters.  

Unassumingly located in a Farmingdale, NY strip mall, just off Long Island’s Route 110 in Farmingdale, this coffee mecca is more than worth the effort it takes to find it.

Georgio and Lydia, the husband and wife duo behind Georgio’s Coffee Roasters, have been in the coffee roasting and brewing business for decades. Lydia, a roaster from Colombia, sources beans from her cousin who owns a large coffee bean farm in Tolima and farms she’s found through her connections to the Colombian Coffee Federation. They also work hard to find fair trade, organic, or farm direct beans across the globe. These high-quality beans are roasted in-house, right in their shop. The result–an award-winning cup of coffee. The coffeehouse has won over twenty Cup of Excellence awards, an annual competition held in several countries to identify the highest quality coffees produced.

Their coffee is so good, they don’t need to sell any food. In an interview, Georgio told Roast Magazine that 90% of their sales are whole beans. They don’t accept tips either. Satisfied customers can contribute money for the building of houses in Colombia for displaced farmers through a project called “Un Techo Para Colombia” (A Roof for Colombia) instead.

And if year-round iced or cold brewed coffee really is your thing, never fear. They devote the same attention and care to their ice-cold brews. Their iced coffee is made using direct-trade, shade-grown organic Don Telmo Reserva coffee bean bought directly from farmers in Colombia. Georgio told Newsday he hot-brews the coffee, lets it rest, chills it and then adds organic ice coffee cubes to it, so your first sip of coffee will taste just like your last.
