Rosé All Day – or Night – During Our Rosé Garden Party

Versatile. Flavorful. Refreshing. Rosé is the summertime drink of 2018, and for good reason. It’s the perfect wine for any occasion, perfectly straddling the line between the lightness of white wines and the depth of red wines.

Whether you’re a rosé beginner or connoisseur, you’ll enjoy some of the best examples of this blush beauty during our Rosé Garden Party hosted by Aime Roquesante on July 12 from 6-9pm.

We’ll be featuring Côtes du Provence rosé, considered the quintessential example of rosé winemaking. With notes of strawberry, watermelon, and cherries, you’ll enjoy the world through rosé-colored glasses while enjoying a special menu perfectly paired with this exquisite wine. To add to the evening of luxury and summertime tastes, Harvest Moon Shellfish CO. will be shucking oysters at our raw bar. Harvest Moon specializes in local Eastern Oysters caught daily in the Great Peconic Bay, between the Twin Forks of Long Island. 

To round out the ambiance, we’re inviting vintage jazz and swing vocalist Vanessa Trouble to perform for our tables. Trouble performs across Manhattan and the Hamptons and her talented croons will perfectly complement the evening’s savory explorations.

This Father’s Day, give Dad the gift he really wants: something hot off the BBQ and a cold one to wash it down.

Bistro 72 will be serving up a special Father’s Day afternoon BBQ from noon until close with complimentary live music from Keith Sloane. This prix fixe menu includes a starter, BBQ entree, dessert and Dad’s first drink on us for only $45 plus tax and gratuity.

Kick things off with our Tomato Bisque, Bistro Salad or Lobster Mac and Cheese. Then dive into our finger-lickin’ mains: the NY Strip Steak, served with herb butter; a Mesquite Half Chicken; Baby Back Ribs with a jerk rub; or Grilled Shrimp Skewers. All entrees come served with a rustic potato salad, roasted brussel sprouts and corn on the cob.

Dads with a sweet tooth will love our dessert options. Go simple with Berries and Cream, a bit more flavorful with our bright, crunchy Peach Cobbler or indulge with our Flourless Chocolate Gateau.

While Dad chows down on his meal, the whole family will enjoy the sounds of Keith Sloane, a local performer that specializes in all your favorite songs from yesterday and today.

This summer, Bistro 72 is debuting our Live Music Brunch series, a rotating group of local musicians that will be a satisfying addition to your meal. From 12-3 every Sunday, you can enjoy live music while you taste Chef Deb Scherer’s sweet and savory brunch confections.

Toast your weekend with our Daily Grind Martini. Fresh espresso, Frangelico, Baileys, and vanilla vodka seamlessly blend into a cocktail with enough kick to get you out and about. Or keep it classic with a Bloody Local featuring locally-made LiV Vodka, Murph’s Bloody Mary Mix and Holy Schmitt’s Horseradish.

Start your day on a hearty note with our Brunch Burger. This guest favorite features a whopping half-pound Angus beef patty on a brioche bun. The brunch twist comes courtesy of a fried egg and a delightfully sinful, buttery hollandaise sauce.
